Connected Clue

CFK, in partnership with Alpheratz Games today announced Connected Clue for Nintendo Switch. Look for its release later in 2026.

Connected Clue is a mystery adventure game. In it, you’ll play as a private detective while running to crime scenes, uncovering the clues in mysterious cases, and finding the links that will lead them to the culprit.

Here’s some additional information:

More than anything, Connected Clue departs from the text-based adventures of old, allowing players to make their own way to the crime scenes and explore each one. Step into a nineteenth-century detective novel rendered in quarter view, discovering hidden alibis, uncovering hidden truths wrapped in lies, and solving mysteries hidden throughout the game map to experience the thrill of finding the culprit.

One day, a bank robbery rocks the serene town of Salomon. There, the criminals make off with three national treasures, the crown, scepter, and orb, that were locked safely in the vault. To make matters worse, the culprits were masked, making identifying them a difficult task. Step into the shoes of private eye Diana to find the culprits before they slip away and their identities dissolve into mystery!

Diana: A private detective who’s recently moved to Salomon town. After getting wrapped into the bank robbery case and trying to figure it out, she first meets Inspector Colin at the scene of the crime. To solve the case of Lina, her first client, she’s going to need to give it her all. She also has a habit of reading through the paper every morning.

Lina: A rather shy, timid young woman. Lina searches out the detective in order to find her brother who’s gone missing. All she wants is to find her brother and leave this town.

Chief Inspector Colin: An inspector with the homicide department. He loves smoking his pipe, hair roughly swept back. After the bank robbery, Colin keeps running into Diana with every case; and though he appears to be rather indifferent and bothered, he seems glad to have her along.

Key Features

  • Become detective Diana and solve the cause plaguing Salomon town: Connected Clue is rendered in isometric 2.5D graphics. The adorable yet serious art style creates an immersive mood without weighing down the mystery aspects. Players step into the shoes of Diana, solving the cases of Salomon town, large and small. At times, players will be thrown into thrilling situations, such as secretly tailing their suspects or sneaking around to find evidence. Players will have to interact with the various citizens and objects scattered throughout the game to collect their clues and witness testimonies. The outcome of the cases will depend on player choices.
  • Everything’s contained in the detective’s notebook: Players will always have access to their notebook. In many situations, players will have to carefully check their notebook for information on their tools, evidence, and persons of interest. In addition, players can check their records and examine the evidence collected so far. They can also check and use various items they might acquire. For example, once the players acquire the magnifying glass, they can take a closer look at items in three dimensions. Once a suspicious item is found, players can rotate it up and down, left and right, to enter it as evidence.
  • Alongside that, in order to implement puzzles that come to mind when people think of mystery games – such as deciphering codes to enter passwords and open hidden doors, or using lockpicks to access locked doors and cabinets—the developer delved into validated mystery novels, movies, shows, and games featuring Sherlock Holmes, Hercule Poirot, and the like.
