Curse Warrior announced for Nintendo Switch, new Nippon Ichi Software dungeon crawler RPG
Nippon Ichi Software today pulled back the curtain on its latest game project, which is Curse Warrior. The title launches for Nintendo Switch in Japan on March 26, 2026.
Curse Warrior is a dungeon crawler RPG. The main hook is that your party members can become cursed while exploring the dungeon.
Here’s some additional information:
Curse Warrior is a dungeon crawler RPG where you explore and conquer “Eclipse,” an underground labyrinth filled with curses. In the dungeon, party members will be cursed by various actions. The curse changes the members’ abilities and actions, so players must constantly keep track of their party’s state and make decisions about how to act. Manage and adjust the effects of the curse to create stronger characters and conquer the dungeon!
This is the story of a great adventure one year ago. The town of Echoes is a scenic transportation hub facing a rich sea. The residents of this town live in fear of attacks by monsters emerging from the nearby underground labyrinth, Eclipse. As an adventurer in the town of Echoes, you take on small requests and exploration jobs, when a request comes your way: to explore and defeat monsters in the underground labyrinth, Eclipse. Apparently, the town of Echoes is calling on adventurers to defeat monsters. Exploring the cursed, monster-infested dungeon will likely be dangerous… But you decide to fight for the town, hoping for peace in the town and the treasure hidden in the underground labyrinth…
