Deliver Us the Moon coming to Switch again following previous cancellation
Deliver Us the Moon is coming to Switch – for real this time.
Back in 2020, the adventure puzzle title was announced for Switch. It was originally planned to launch in August of that year. However, a couple of months before release, the Switch version was cancelled entirely. Wired Productions said the decision was made “after careful consideration” and “based on a number of factors, not helped by the industry-wide stresses that have been felt by the Covid-19 pandemic, which has made every task just that little bit harder.”
In any case, Deliver Us the Moon has now been announced for Switch once again. Wired Productions isn’t sharing details on release timing, but says the port is “coming soon”.
Here’s an overview of the game:
Deliver Us The Moon is a critically acclaimed Sci-Fi thriller set in an apocalyptic near future, where Earth’s natural resources are depleted and humanity looks to the stars.
Nations band together to create the World Space Agency – an organisation tasked with solving the extreme energy crisis. The solution: colonization and exploitation of the moon’s natural reserves of Helium-3 to serve the energy needs of a growing Earth population. Suddenly, and without warning, communications with the Moon cease, and the energy source is lost. Plunged into darkness and without power, years pass as world governments come together once more to embark on a new mission – to re-establish the energy supply and with it hope for the human race.
As the lone astronaut sent to the moon on a critical mission to save humanity from extinction. Will you save mankind or be forgotten in the dark abyss of Space?
