Donut factory puzzle game Freshly Frosted out on Switch this week

The donut factory puzzle game Freshly Frosted will be appearing on Switch this week, The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild announced today. A release is planned for June 10, 2022.

Freshly Frosted is the first in-house developed game from The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild since Tumblestone. The title, which takes place in the world’s most adorable donut factory, will have players sorting out a dozen dozen dazzling donut dilemmas with twelve different donut shapes from jelly-filled to maple bars, pumpkins, stars, and more.

They’ll start out by placing conveyor belts to direct donuts through frosting, sprinkle, whipped cream, and cherry machines to their delivery counters. Across the different worlds, a new machine will be introduced to help or hinder puzzle solving. These include cloners, pushers, splitters, randomizers, and more.

Freshly Frosted features 144 unique puzzles across 12 different seasonally themed worlds, a “soothing and comforting narrative” with voice over that guides players through each level, and full accessibility options such as hints for every level, adjustable text size and input cooldown, and more.

Freshly Frosted will be available digitally on Switch as an eShop download. Pricing has not been announced at this time.
