Europe’s best-selling games of August 2024
GSD data provides a look at the best-selling games across Europe in August 2024. It’s based on data for all physical game releases in major markets plus digital game sales from most major publishers.
It’s not on the main chart, but Emio: The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club came in at #13 (that’s without digital data factored in). Hogwarts Legacy is the top game available on Switch at #3, and we also see EA Sports FC 24 at #5.
Switch was again the second best-selling console of the month, behind PS5. Sales of Nintendo’s system fell 25 percent compared to the same period last year.
