First Taiko no Tatsujin game announced for Wii U
Namco Bandai has announced the first Taiko no Tatsujin game for Wii U. Famitsu has the first details this week.
Taiko no Tatsujin supports different control schemes such as the Wiimote, drums (Wii), and GamePad. When using the GamePad in conjunction with the TV, controls are done on the touchscreen. Buttons are used when off-TV play is enabled.
The game will support up to four players. Mario and Luigi masks are included, too. Another Nintendo collaboration sees the inclusion of at least one tune from Pokemon X/Y. Other songs come from AKB48, Exile, Ikimonogakari, One Piece, Aikatsu, and Toricco.
Taiko no Tatsujin launches in Japan on November 21.
