Freedom Wars Remastered getting physical release in Asia with English support, pre-orders open
It seems that Freedom Wars Remastered won’t be available physically in the west, but in Asia, Bandai Namco has other plans. The game will be sold at retail in the region – and English support will be included.
Remember that Nintendo Switch is a region free console. That means the system is compatible with all games regardless of region. If you import the physical version in Asia, it can be played just like any other title.
Below is an overview of the game:
Born into a one-million-year prison sentence, you must survive deadly missions to earn any hope of freedom. Die in prison or live on the battlefield. The choice is yours.
In a distant future where all resources on earth have been depleted, being alive is a sin by itself. As a sinner sentenced to one million years in prison, you must volunteer in dangerous operations to reduce your prison sentence and fight your way to freedom.
Use your most trusted weapon, your Thorn, to dominate the battlefield. Stand alongside your allies and your warden cyborg Accessory to face off against powerful enemies.
Re-rendered graphics vividly portray desolate worlds, colossal prison cities, powerful enemies, and fierce battles.
New features in the remastered version:
- High-resolution textures
- Added difficulty level settings
- Overhauled weapon crafting system
Freedom Wars Remastered launches on January 10, 2025 and you can pre-order the physical version at VGP here or Play-Asia here. Also, in case you missed it, we have the opening movie that was recently shared here.
