Gamescom 2023: Opening Night Live announced for August 22

Gamescom 2023: Opening Night Live will be held on August 22, 2023, it’s been announced.

Geoff Keighley will be hosting the event as was the case in previous years. Along with brand new game announcements, the show is expected to have new trailers, updates on previously-announced titles, and more.

Opening Night Live will be just the start of Gamescom 2023. The event itself will take place between August 23 and August 27 at Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany.

As of now it’s unclear which publishers and developers will be participating at this year’s Gamescom. Nintendo had typically had a strong presence, but after the expo was fully back in person last year, the company skipped the show.
