Glitch being used in Super Mario Odyssey’s new mode to place balloons in impossible-to-reach areas
Luigi’s Balloon World in Super Mario Odyssey was added this week through a free update. Unfortunately, some players are already exploiting a glitch by clipping through walls to place balloons in impossible-to-reach areas.
The most prevalent kingdom affected is New Donk City. However, other worlds have been impacted as well.
These are just a couple of examples:

We’re not even a week into Luigi’s Balloon World, yet here we are. Will Nintendo patch this? Are players who are exploiting the glitch going to be banned? It’s unclear what action – if any – Nintendo will be taking in the future, though we’ll keep an eye out for any movement.
