GoldenEye 007 producer believes controller options, license will help sales

“No, I mean, for our game – did I go through all the different controllers we’ve got? We’ve got Classic Controller play, we’ve got the Gamecube controller, we’ve got the Zapper, we’ve obviously got the Wiimote and nunchuk, and we’ve got all these different controllers. And then we have these different control schemes as well. So we’ve got control schemes for core gamers, control schemes for more casual gamers – so we’ve just totally made it accessible, and obviously Bond is a very popular license anyway, so I don’t see it as a challenge, you know. GoldenEye belongs on a Nintendo platform, we’ve got the accessibility there but also enough for the hardcore gamers, yes.” – Producer Dawn Pinkney

Pinkney also didn’t rule out the possibility of GoldenEye 007 losing its Wii-exclusivity in the future. When asked about the chances of a port, she said “that’s not something I can discuss.”
