Grim Guardians: Demon Purge renamed to Gal Guardians: Demon Purge following trademark complaint

Inti Creates announced today that it’s changing the name of Grim Guardians: Demon Purge to Gal Guardians: Demon Purge.
This will be rolling out on Switch and other platforms “in the coming weeks”. Expect to see it on the eShop soon.
Inti Creates explained that it received a complaint from the owners of the trademark “Grimguard” registered in the United States, European Union, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. That prompted the name change in these countries as well as other English-speaking regions.
Fans recently noticed that Grim Guardians: Demon Purge had been taken down from the Switch eShop and other storefronts – now we know why. Inti Creates is in the process of moving forward with the new Gal Guardians: Demon Purge name, but the title may be temporarily unavailable for purchase in some regions.
Inti Creates said it “offers sincere apologies to any customers who are affected as they strive to complete the name change as soon as possible and restore the game to sale across all platforms and regions.”
