August 15: Mascot Bro Studios passed along the news that its new game Backrooms: Partygoers will be released on Switch. The title arrives this Halloween.

Backrooms: Partygoers is a horror game that “plunges you into the darkest corners of an endless, decaying maze filled with the echoes of forgotten screams and the malevolent presence of Partygoers – distorted creatures that thrive on terror.” You’ll take on the role of as a researcher tasked with finding anomalies.

In Backrooms Partygoers, you are a lone survivor trapped in this eerie, fluorescent-lit purgatory, tasked with hunting down anomalies—twisted manifestations of the Backrooms’ darkest secrets. But beware: the deeper you venture, the more the Backrooms shift and morph, warping your sense of reality and sanity. Every step you take could be your last as you navigate this ever-changing hellscape, searching for clues, solving intricate puzzles, and battling otherworldly entities that lurk around every corner.

The Partygoers are relentless, always watching, always waiting. With every anomaly you hunt, they grow stronger, more cunning, and more terrifying. Will you be able to survive their twisted games and find your way out of the Backrooms, or will you become another lost soul, forever trapped in their eternal nightmare?

Hide, scan for targets, find batteries for flashlight and much more. Scavenge for water and other supplies from dead bodies stuck in the Backrooms and try to escape the backrooms. You are not alone.

October 8: Backrooms: Partygoers now has a release date. The game will make its way to Switch on October 29, 2024. Those interested in it will be able to grab the game as an eShop download. Currently, there’s no word no pricing.
