How to revisit the Grand Festival venue in Splatoon 3
Splatoon 3’s big Grand Festival event has wrapped up, ending the game’s primary content cycle (save for maybe a couple of repeat Splatfests). During the event, all players were moved over to an exclusive Grand Festival venue instead of the standard Splatsville, Inkopolis Square, or Inkopolis Plaza hub. The seven idols took turns performing their music during the event, too. The Grand Festival venue had a ton of work put into it, and so it’d be a shame if it weren’t accessible again after the event. Fortunately, you can still go back even though the event has ended. All you need is a certain amiibo.
How to revisit the Grand Festival venue
To revisit this unique hub, you’ll need an amiibo of one of the idols who performed in the Splatfest. This means either Callie or Marie amiibo work, plus either of the Pearl or Marina amiibo. Shiver, Frye, and Big Man will also work. When you scan them in, you’ll be able to ask them about the Grand Festival, which will warp you to the venue for you to explore again. You can pick Colorful Evenings, the first night of the Grand Fest that took place at sunset. Then there’s the Night of Unity, which is the Now or Never Seven performing all together at night. Finally, you can also pick That Tranquil Dawn, which is what the Grand Fest looked like while waiting for results. Once you’ve picked one, you can press the menu button to change between them as you like.
There is no way to re-access the Grand Festival without an amiibo, so keep that in mind. Generic Inkling and Octoling boy and girl amiibo won’t give you the option to go back to the venue.
This means that even if you don’t have the game yet (it’ll probably be a while before Splatoon 4), you can still have a glimpse at what the Grand Fest was like. You can check out the official website for Splatoon 3 and its DLC here.
