Inazuma Eleven Victory Road release date Nintendo Switch 2

During a presentation today, Level-5 relayed the final release date for Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road and also confirmed a Nintendo Switch 2 version. Fans can pick it up on August 21, 2025. The title will be launching simultaneously worldwide in multiple languages – but it’ll be digital-only.

Nintendo Switch 2 will have some upgrades. Level-5 says it includes HDR, higher resolution, higher frame rate, mouse support, and GameChat support.

The wait for Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road has been excruciating, especially if you’re a fan of the series. There have been a great amount of delays over the years – we wouldn’t blame you if you forgot how many.

Originally announced in 2016, the game was first known as Inazuma Eleven Ares. The project has clearly gone through development issues and overhauls, but after nearly a decade, it looks like Level-5 is finally wrapping things up.

Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road will have various features to keep fans busy. Level-5 is including Chronicle Mode in which players can relive the series’ entire history, Story Mode with new protagonist Destin Billows, Competition Mode with solo matches, online competition / 2-player tag mode, and online tournaments, Kizuna Station in which you can create an avatar and town and interact with other players, an Advent Calendar, art to unlock in a gallery, gameplay customization settings, cross-play and cross-play, and more.

A new trailer coming in at nearly 20 minutes long can be found below.
