Into the Breach “Advanced Edition” update announced

It turns out that Subset Games isn’t finished with Into the Breach, as a new “Advanced Edition” update has been unveiled.
The patch features new squads and weapons, new pilots and pilot abilities, new enemies, bosses, and missions, a more challenging difficulty mode, seven new languages (Arabic, Thai, Swedish, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Turkish, and Latin American Spanish), new music from Ben Prunty, and more. Subset says “every aspect of the game will be expanded with new content.”
Here’s some additional information about what’s new in the Into the Breach Advanced Edition update:
New Mechs and Weapons: Five new mech squads and nearly forty new weapons.
New Challenges: More enemies, more bosses, and more mission objectives that add additional challenge and variety to any run.
New Pilot Abilities: The expanded roster includes four new pilots and triple the amount of skills any pilot can earn through promotions.

The “Advanced Edition” update for Into the Breach will go live for Switch on July 19, 2022.
