Koji Kondo wants Mario concerts

The first couple of Zelda Symphony concerts kicked off very recently, will a full tour set to take place in 2012. This is just one of the ways Nintendo is celebrating the franchise’s 25th anniversary.

Unfortunately, Mario never received the same treatment for his birthday last year. That doesn’t mean, however, that Mario concerts are out of the question. Koji Kondo responded excitedly when asked about the possibility of Mario concerts in an interview with GameTrailers TV, and expressed great interest in making that happen sometime in the future.
