Kyouran Makaism announced for Nintendo Switch 2, Switch

Today, Nippon Ichi Software revealed Kyouran Makaism for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. The game is slated for January 29, 2025.

Kyouran Makaism is an action RPG. After a subordinate eats the First Radiance Pudding in the Netherworld and stages a rebellion, mercenary Neuer is asked to reclaim it.

Kyouran Makaism is a brand new 3D action RPG brought to you by the stellar team of development chief Minoba Shunsuke, character designer Harada Takehito, and music composer Sato Tenpei.

Blow away your enemies with flashy techniques! In Kyouran Makaism, you control the main character, Neuer, and enjoy speedy action as you smash through a multitude of enemies. Each weapon has a powerful and flashy special technique, allowing you to use a variety of techniques to blow away the hordes of weak enemies and giant bosses in an exhilarating way!

Takehito Harada, who has worked on many characters for Nippon Ichi Software’s works, has once again created new illustrations! These charming characters rampage freely across the screen. There are also characters from “Disgaea,” so fans of the series should definitely check it out!

The seven weapons that the main character, Neuer, can equip each have their own unique attack range and actions. By using them appropriately to suit the stage and your play style, the range of your battles will expand dramatically. Learn the characteristics of your weapons and find the fighting style that suits you!

Characters can be trained up to level 9999! Super-strengthen them to crush enemies in one hit! You can strengthen your characters through various means, including “Reincarnation,” which adds stat bonuses and allows you to start training from level 1, “Magic Abilities,” which can be equipped to receive various benefits, and the “Character World,” which allows you to penetrate the inner world of your character and strengthen it.

Nippon Ichi Software’s signature diverse and endlessly addictive training elements are available, including the “Item World,” which allows you to penetrate the inner world of equipment and strengthen it, and “Innocent,” which can be equipped to equipment to increase its stats. Monsters captured during battle can be taken to the battlefield as “Servants.” Not only will they fight alongside you, but they can also boost the protagonist’s stats depending on the Magic Abilities they are equipped with, and can transform into the protagonist’s weapon through “Magic Change,” making them a reliable ally.
