Labyrinth Runner is this week’s Arcade Archives game on Nintendo Switch 2, Switch

For its latest Arcade Archives release, Hamster has announced Labyrinth Runner. The game will be available tomorrow, January 22, for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch.

Labyrinth Runner, which came out in 1988, was originally made by Konami. The shooter has players going on a mission to rescue the kidnapped Princess Papaya.

Labyrinth Runner is a shooting game released by Konami in 1988. You set off on a journey towards the castle where the evil Devil awaits, in order to rescue the kidnapped Princess Papaya. Be wary of the various traps along the way, and use three types of projectiles to defeat enemies appearing from all directions as you advance!

The Arcade Archives series has faithfully reproduced many classic Arcade masterpieces. Players can change various game settings such as game difficulty, and also reproduce the atmosphere of arcade display settings at that time. Players can also compete against each other from all over the world with their high scores. Please enjoy the masterpiece that built a generation for video games.
