For its latest Arcade Archives release, Hamster has announced Mach Breakers. The title will be out for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch tomorrow, September 4.

Mach Breakers first launched in 1995. Coming from Namco, this sports game has players taking on twelve different events.

Here’s an official overview: 

Mach Breakers is a sports game released by Namco Limited (current Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc.) in 1995. The superhuman sports series continues with this sequel to “Numan Athletics”! Now featuring 7 athletes and 12 kinds of events, the action is even more intense. Break the sound barrier and shatter expectations!

The “Arcade Archives” series has faithfully reproduced many classic Arcade masterpieces. Players can change various game settings such as game difficulty, and also reproduce the atmosphere of arcade display settings at that time. Players can also compete against each other from all over the world with their high scores. Please enjoy the masterpieces that built a generation for video games.
