Mario & Luigi: Brothership event comes to Super Mario Run

For a limited time, Super Mario Run players can get involved with a special event that features the new Nintendo Switch RPG Mario & Luigi: Brothership.

The event is specifically known as “Mario and Luigi’s New Adventure! Special Mission”. While it’s active, players will have the chance to obtain new statues.

By completing three missions, a statue for Mario & Connie will unlock. At six missions finished, you’ll get the Luigi & Snoutlet Statue. Finally, for nine missions, you’ll receive one for Mario & Luigi. Mission objectives and progress can be tracked by tapping the icon in the top-right area of the kingdom. The first one will unlock more or less right away, as it simply involves visiting the kingdom.

A variety of objectives are included in the event. Examples include making it through a level without defeating Goombas and collecting a certain amount of coins.
