Metro-Cross is this week’s Arcade Archives game on Switch
Hamster has announced that Metro-Cross will be the next game coming to Switch under the Arcade Archives label. Here is some more information on the title.
Metro-Cross was originally released by Namco in 1985. The game is an auto-runner of sorts; you take control of a runner who has to make their way across a variety of levels within the time allotted to them. Traversing stages in a timely manner means avoiding the variety of obstacles in your way, be they hurdles, pitfalls, mice or any other impediment. If you complete stages quickly enough, you’ll transfer bonus time to future rounds providing a bit more leeway, and you can also collect cans while running to increase your score.
Arcade Archives Metro-Cross will release digitally on Switch tomorrow, August 18. It will cost $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29 on the Switch eShop.
