Metroid: Other M director Yoshio Sakamoto was asked about the longtime rumored Metroid Dread project. Here was his response, through his translator.
“He’s very familiar with that [game,]. No, this is different. The day may come when Dread hits the stores, but this one is something that’s completely different. This is other M.”
I would be interested in seeing Metroid Dread release one day. After hearing about Metroid: Other M, I suppose anything is possible
