Midnight Landing is this week’s Arcade Archives game on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch
For the latest addition to the Arcade Archives series, Hamster has announced Midnight Landing. Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch are both getting it tomorrow, October 23.
Taito was behind the original release. The flight sim tasks players with safely arriving at an airport.
Here’s an official overview:
Midnight Landing is a flight simulation game released by Taito in 1987. You take control of an aircraft soaring through the midnight sky, with the goal of landing safely at the airport. The lights of the runway come into view, signaling the end of your journey through the night. Bring it to a perfect close with a beautiful landing.
The Arcade Archives series has faithfully reproduced many classic Arcade masterpieces. Players can change various game settings such as game difficulty, and also reproduce the atmosphere of arcade display settings at that time. Players can also compete against each other from all over the world with their high scores. Please enjoy the masterpiece that built a generation for video games.
