MindSeize update out now on Switch (version 1.1.0), patch notes
It’s been a year since MindSeize first released on Switch, and to celebrate the game’s first anniversary, publisher First Press Games and developer Kamina Dimension have readied a major 1.1.0 update. It comes with a bunch of improvements and new features.
The 2D Metroidvania game now has new collectibles with upgrades and hidden Art Cards, achievements, a scanline filter option, rebalanced Boss Rush Mode, support for Spanish and French languages, and more. We have the full patch notes for MindSeize version 1.1.0 below.
- Spanish & French translations added
- New collectibles, including upgrades and hidden Art Cards
- Achievements for game progression and side-quests
- New menu for unlocked Achievements and Art Cards
- Added scanline filter option (recommended for docked mode)
- Damage numbers can now be displayed during gameplay
- Upgrades and Gear can now get un- and re-equipped
- Improvements and new attack patterns for various boss fights
- Completely rebalanced Boss Rush Mode
- Improvements to level design, enemy behavior & upgrade effects for even better game-flow
- Increased visibility for smaller enemy projectiles
- New in-game option to reset all save data & collectibles
- Various small fixes & detail improvements
The 1.1.0 anniversary update for MindSeize can be accessed now by all players on Switch. Those that have yet to pick up the game can do so through the eShop.
