Monster Hunter Tri G localization up to Capcom, not Nintendo
Perhaps this shouldn’t come as a surprise, but Monster Hunter Tri G’s fate outside of Japan lies in the hands of Capcom entirely.
David Gibson at Macquarie Capital Securities (Japan) Limited attended Nintendo’s financial results briefing last week. It seems as though, at one point, Gibson asked the company about the overseas status of Monster Hunter Tri G. Nintendo responded by saying that what happens with the game is up to Capcom.
Capcom strong hinted at a localization announcement last month. If there is news about the title pertaining to an overseas release, we’ll probably have to wait until E3 2012 before anything is made official.
