At DreamCon 2023 today, Geras was revealed as the latest character for Mortal Kombat 1. A new trailer debuted at the event sharing the news.
Geras, who was created by the former Keeper of Time, first appeared in Kombat 11. He was that game’s antagonist in the Story Mode.
Many characters have already been confirmed. The game will also feature Baraka, Johnny Cage, Kenshi Takahashi, Kitana, Kung Lao, Li Mei, Liu Kang, Mileena, Raiden, Rain, Scorpion, Smoke, Sub-Zero, and Tanya. Shang Tsung will initially be a pre-order bonus as well.
Note that Kameo Fighters are also included to act as assists. Some of these include Cyrax, Frost, Jax Briggs, and Sonya Blade.
