2K made it official today that NBA 2K26 will be appearing on Nintendo Switch 2. A release is planned for this fall.
Plans for the NBA 2K franchise were announced for the new console during a Nintendo Direct earlier this year. However, now we know that the system will be getting the latest entry in the basketball series.
Further information could follow tomorrow as that’s when pre-orders will open. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who was the MVP of the latest NBA series, will be the cover athlete for the standard version.
As of now there’s been no news about NBA 2K26 on the original Nintendo Switch. If we get some clarity there, we’ll be sure to let you know.
WWE 2K25 was also announced for Nintendo Switch 2 and arrives later this month. Get the full details on that here.
