Get the party started as Nintendo announce 3 new Wii U hardware bundles

launching in time for the festive season

10th October 2013 – The lead up to Christmas is set to be an exciting time for fans looking for value and variety in their gaming, with the announcement of three new Wii U hardware bundle releases coming this November. Perfect for festive celebrations, the new bundles incorporate games to really get the party started such as Wii Party U and Just Dance 2014, as well as a bundle combining both New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U in a special one game disc offering.

On 8th November, the release of the Mario & Luigi Premium Pack will offer both New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U packaged as a ‘2 in 1’ disc alongside a black premium Wii U console with 32GB* of storage, plus a black Wii U GamePad controller. In New Super Mario Bros. U run, leap and stomp your way through a giant world map full of challenging courses and a variety of gameplay modes to sharpen your platforming skills. In New Super Luigi U, although the games basic systems are the same as New Super Mario Bros. U, the 82 courses on the World Map have been replaced with brand new ones especially for Luigi. Containing seemingly improbable jumps, formidably hidden Star Coins and a time limit of 100 seconds to complete each course it’s going to be one speedy adventure.

On 15th November, an ideal bundle for all the family releases in the shape of the Wii Party U Basic Pack, comprising of a white Wii U console with 8GB** of storage, white Wii U GamePad and Wii Remote Plus controller, Sensor Bar, and disc versions of party starters Wii Party U – releasing for Wii U on 25th October – and the already released Nintendo Land***. With Wii Party U, enjoy a vast array of games for friends and family to get stuck into, from quickfire, pick up and play Minigames to House Party games which require players to use the Wii U GamePad and Wii Remote Plus controller while also interacting with each other away from the TV. In addition, games in GamePad Party mode put the focus squarely on the Wii U GamePad screen, with the likes of ‘Tabletop Football’ and ‘Mii-in-a-Row’ pitting two players against each other in skill and strategy challenges. Throw into the mix more conventional board game and quiz-style activities, and Wii Party U offers seemingly endless ways to compete and have fun with friends!

Lastly, on 22nd November, get ready for a living room boogie with the help of Wii U when the Just Dance 2014 Basic Pack bundle launches. With the bundle containing a white Wii U console with 8GB** of storage, white Wii U GamePad and Wii Remote Plus controller, Sensor Bar, and disc versions of both Just Dance 2014 and Nintendo Land, get ready to enjoy either the fun attractions of a Nintendo theme park, or dancing the night away with friends to over 40 new tracks – from the hottest chart-toppers to the coolest classics – featuring in this latest title in the Just Dance series. Also featuring the series’ first-ever online multiplayer mode, World Dance Floor, pull out your best moves against other players from across the world, while in Party Master mode, the Wii U GamePad is used to pick the next move or cue up the next song to dish out dance challenges to friends.
