Nintendo Accounts website opens new portal
As Nintendo Switch 2 approaches and with the release of a big firmware update this release for the company’s current system, something you might want to be made aware of (if you haven’t already) is a new portal site for Nintendo Accounts.
A website for Nintendo Accounts was previously started, which still exists. That site has also seen a few changes, but it currently houses user information, sign in and security settings, the ability to manage Family Groups, privacy and other settings, and a QR code for event check ins. Managing passes, checking on My Nintendo points, and various items related to funds and payments are on the new portal site.
For the Nintendo portal, it essentially contains everything you need for eShop purposes. You can see your lineup of systems (including serial number and even the correctly-colored Joy-Con you’re using) and check on transfers, manage the just-launched virtual game cards, and view information about your Nintendo Switch Online membership.
You can check out the main Nintendo Accounts website here. The portal-specific section is here.
The Nintendo Switch version 20.0.0 update came out earlier in the week, and you can find a rundown of all the new features here. Also, following that, a version 20.0.1 patch was issued to address a major bug.
