Nintendo of America and Teksystems hit with new labor complaints

Game File has spotted two new worker complaints filed to the United States’ National Labor Relations Board within the last month involving Nintendo of America and contracting firm Teksystems.

The first one came about on December 9, 2025. Following that, there was another on January 6, 2026. The individual or individuals behind the complaints are not publicly available and information is hard to come by currently.

What we know currently is that the complaints allege violations of clauses 8(a)(1) and 8(a)(4) from the labor act. As relayed by Game File, these are as follows:

(a)(1) bars employers from interfering with or restraining employees from their right to self-organize, “to form, join, or assist labor organizations, to bargain collectively through representatives of their own choosing, and to engage in other concerted activities for the purpose of collective bargaining or other mutual aid or protection.”

8(a)(4) prohibits employers from firing, discharging or otherwise discriminating “against an employee because he has filed charges or given testimony under this Act.”

Nintendo of America works with firms such as Teksystems to jobs such as game-testing and customer service.

The complaints were assigned to the NLRB’s Region 19 in Seattle. A settlement could be reached in the future, but it’s also possible that there will be a hearing before an NLRB administrative law judge with both sides given the opportunity to speak. We’ll keep you updated if any further information comes to light.
