Back in October 2003, Nintendo filed a patent for game emulation. The US Patents and Trademarks Office approved the filing nearly ten years later. According to Engadget, “built-in displays and accompanying software on external computing devices” are included in the patent. Maybe we’ll see Nintendo emulators on airlines one day. Or maybe not.
