Nintendo reveals light purple and light green Joy-Con 2 for Switch 2

Nintendo is preparing new light purple and light green Joy-Con 2 for Switch 2, the company just revealed. The controllers arrive on February 12, 2026, just in time for Mario Tennis Fever.

News about the light purple and light green Joy-Con 2 for Switch 2 just dropped on the Nintendo Today app. The announcement should be spreading elsewhere shortly.

With the original Switch, Nintendo brought out a ton of different color options for the Joy-Con over the years. However, this is the first time we’re seeing something new with Nintendo Switch 2.

The controllers will cost $99.99 – the same price as the previous Joy-Con 2. Technically they did see an increase in cost as Nintendo raised the price of various products back in August – we have the full list here.
