Nintendo shares updated stats for annual playing users, Nintendo Accounts, Switch Online members

We have a few key statistics from Nintendo – specifically annual playing users, Nintendo Accounts, and Switch Online members. These tidbits were shared during a financial results briefing today.

The full rundown is as follows:

• Annual playing users: 128 million
• Nintendo Account: 400 million
• Nintendo Switch Online Members: 34 million

For annual playing users, this “refers to the number of Nintendo Accounts, out of all Nintendo Accounts registered to a Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 system, that used Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 software one or more times during the 12-month data aggregation period. It doesn’t include services such as Nintendo eShop.
