Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders start in the U.S. on April 24, price staying the same
Nintendo just provided the latest information about Switch 2 pre-orders for the United States. The console will be available to reserve starting on April 24, 2025.
Nintendo was originally planning on starting Switch 2 pre-orders stateside last Wednesday. However, that decision was reversed following news regarding tariffs.
Also confirmed is that the console’s price will not be changing – that means you can grab the system for $450 or the Mario Kart World bundle for $500. Game prices will be “unchanged at launch” as well, though “accessories will experience price adjustments”.
