Nintendo Switch Online gains Holiday 2025 icons

December 4: To ring in the holidays, special icons have now been made available on Nintendo Switch Online. This is a limited time event for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch owners, lasting until December 25.

Characters, backgrounds, and frames are available. Everything here is focused on Super Mario, with Mario himself, Luigi, Peach, Toad, and Yoshi featured – at least for wave one. There’ll be a couple of additional waves during the month.

For every character, you’ll need to hand over 10 Platinum Points on My Nintendo. The backgrounds and frames go for 5 Platinum Points each.
