Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition officially revealed
Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition has now been officially revealed. The game launches for Switch on July 18, 2024.

The single-player Speedrun Mode is included in which players can beat their own times and unlock new challenges and in-game pins. Also available is the Party Mode, which supports up to eight players locally. Lastly, Nintendo Switch Online members can enter World Championships Mode to submit their best times in five challenges that rotate each week and compete for a spot on the global leaderboard.
The following NES games are featured:
- Balloon Fight
- Donkey Kong
- Excitebike
- Ice Climber
- Kid Icarus
- Kirby’s Adventure
- Metroid
- Super Mario Bros.
