The latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation has revealed a new title from Nippon Ichi Software. Revealed in the magazine is void tRrLM(); //void teRraLiuM, an upcoming roguelike planned for Switch.
Here’s what we know thus far:
– From the creator of htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary Masayuki Furuya
– Music by Hajime Sugie
– Story is about a girl who is the very last of mankind in a ruined world and a robot
– Civilization has been gone for several hundred years
– A single robot awakens in a scarp yard
– The wandering robot finds a young girl covered in fungi
– Humans can’t live in this world due to it being covered by the toxic fungi
– The robot used an isolated terrarium to create a habitable environment for the girl, but…
– Toriko: A girl who somehow stayed alive; has mushrooms growing from her head and left eye
– Care Robot: A robot that just happened to move about
– Roguelike with a terrarium that acts as your base of operations
– Visit the outside world (dungeons)
– While out there, you’ll explore abandoned buildings as the robot to look for food and items to help keep the girl alive
– Customizable options for the terrarium with various furniture and plants
– As for the dungeons, they’re described as a Mystery Dungeon-style perspective
– If you don’t take care of Toriko properly, she can get sick so you’ll need to stay on top of that as the Care Robot
– You’ll also be required to look for ways to fight off the fungi
void tRrLM(); //void teRraLiuM launches for Switch in Japan on January 23, 2020.
