Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening Complete Edition video shows Nintendo Switch 2 mouse controls

Koei Tecmo has shared a new video today showcasing fresh gameplay details for Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening Complete Edition on Nintendo Switch 2. The footage features commentary from the game’s developers and highlights the newly added mouse support, giving players a closer look at how the feature works on the upcoming system.

Originally released in 2023, Awakening CE is set to launch alongside the Switch 2 on June 5. In addition to mouse functionality, the updated version will include new content to the Nintendo Switch 2 release.

Players can look forward to: six new scenarios, including “The Birth of Nobunaga.”, Decisive Battles between major clans, new traits for generals, all previously released DLC included and support for 4K resolutionand enhanced graphics.

NOBUNAGA’S AMBITION: Awakening,” where players can truly experience the Warring States period with officers who make decisions for themselves, now has a complete edition that includes various add-on content that has been released.

The game:

Players are supported by faithful retainers who act on their own judgement. The “Dominion” system will allow players to obtain and grant territory to retainers, so they can divvy up and parcel out the beautifully detailed Warring States Japan as they like, and make it prosper!

The game will also include a large variety of high-quality features befitting of the 40th anniversary of the series, including submission, direct talks, council officials, sieges, castle roles, and province plans, allowing the lords and their retainers to progress as one.

From famous officers to beautiful princesses, over 2,200 officers will be included, the greatest number in the series. Players can now come together with highly individualistic retainers and move history!

The complete edition includes the previously released early purchase bonus, pre-order bonus, and “Kou Shibusawa’s 40th Anniversary Commemorative Officer Data Set,” along with six new scenarios, such as “Birth of Nobunaga.”
