New Features & Updates
Plush Trading Has Arrived
Potato Pod and Plush enthusiasts, rejoice! Plush trading has arrived in Palia! All you collectors, decorators, and Dragon-blessed Palians with multiple Order Sernuks can finally exchange items with other players in-game!
Plush trading allows Palians to exchange Potato Pods and Plushes in real time; and entrepreneurial Palians will want to visit the new Trading Kiosk in the Underground Black Market to initiate the “Trading Tips” questline.
Following completion of the Trading Tips quest, players can head to the Underground Black Market and trade freely. Try out the new “Come Here” emote to attract players for a potential trade. Then approach a trading kiosk to make an offer of between one and three Potato Pods or Plushes.
Players that match with another Palian’s trade proposal will swap the items on offer; and voilà, your items will be traded and you’ll be one step closer to putting the finishing touches on your Plush display or completing your Potato Pod collection… and you might collect an accomplishment along the way!
Camping Decor Set
Bring the great outdoors into and around your home with the long-awaited Camping Decor Set! Featuring 20 rustic and cozy pieces, this collection will infuse your space with the spirit and charm of adventure, perfect for a fall season in-game escape.
New players can acquire the initial Camping Decor Set recipe by placing their first tent on their Home Plot. Experienced Palians who have already pitched their tents and established their roots will automatically receive the recipe, but might not be notified.
Yardwork Decor Set
Is your Home Plot design falling flat? Try switching up the terrain with the new Yardwork Decor Set!
Add a dash of rugged charm that elevates your space — literally. The new terraces, rocks, logs, and pillars will shape your Home Plot with natural beauty and creative appeal.
Each Yardwork Decor piece can be purchased at the new Yardwork Store located in City Hall.
Note: Players need to acquire all available writs to unlock Yardwork Store purchases.
Potato Pod Log-in Rewards and the Maji Market are Back!
The next batch of Potato Pod log-in rewards have arrived just in time for Plush trading!
As always, the only way to receive a Potato Pod is to log-in during the specified timeframe. You’ll need to log-in at least once between 10 a.m. PT on Wednesday, Oct. 23 and 10 a.m. PT on Tuesday, Nov. 5; and then again between 10 a.m. PT on Wednesday, Nov. 6 and 10 a.m. PT on Monday, Nov. 18.
You’ll receive one Potato Pod for each log-in reward period for an opportunity to earn a total of two Potato Pods for the duration of the Fall’s Flourishes update.
And keep a lookout for your next Maji Market invitation in the mail! Just like last time, the Maji Market will only be open between the Palian hours of 6 p.m. to 3 a.m.
During this patch, Maji Market will be open for only one week, starting on Tuesday, Nov. 5. However, there will be plenty more opportunity to visit the Maji Market this year as detailed below (including this patch):
- Starts Nov. 5 at 12am PST – Ends Nov. 11 at 11:59pm PST
- Starts Dec. 3 at 12am PST – Ends Dec. 9 at 11:59pm PST
- Continuing every 4 weeks
Improvements & Adjustments
Featured Home Tours
In an effort to increase Home Tours discoverability and rewards for most Palians, players can now spend Tour Tickets to “feature” their Home Plot during a Housing Tour Event.
Kilima Village Store Adjustments
Players trying to sell items at stores located in Kilima Village will have an easier time. Any item that can be sold in General Stores and the Underground Black Market will now be accepted at stores located in Kilima Village.
Pop-A-Chapaa Timing Changes
The Pop-A-Chapaa gameplay event will now trigger in the Maji Market at 10 p.m. Palia time instead of 8 p.m. Palia time. The timing changes should reduce downtime for players looking to maximize ticket earnings.
