Paper Trail to receive Nintendo Switch physical release
Those looking to add a physical version of Paper Trail to their Nintendo Switch collection will be able to do so in the future, courtesy of Lost in Cult. This will be available at some point next year.
A standard version should be sold by major retailers. On top of that, there’ll be an “Edition” limited to 3,000 copies. This includes the game that’s housed in a collectible mailer box with seasonally-rotated illustrations, essay and developer interview booklet (40 pages) by Thomas Ife, original outer slipcase artwork by Moy Lee, variant case cover, poster artwork by Bene Rohlmann, color-thematic inner slipcase with release number code, fold-out unique artwork poster with checklist and artist description on the back, four art cards chosen from the developer with captions, and director’s authenticity card (individually numbered).
Paper Trail first came to Nintendo Switch digitally in 2024. Below is an official overview:
Paper Trail is a top-down puzzle adventure about leaving home, set in a foldable, paper world. You play as Paige, a budding academic, leaving home for the first time to pursue her studies. On the journey, you learn to fold the world, merging two sides to solve puzzles, explore new areas and uncover long-lost secrets.
