Persona 5 Strikers English voice recording was put on hold due to quarantine
Persona 5 Strikers is finally heading west in February. For awhile, there was some uncertainty regarding if and when the game would be localized. It seems that the coronavirus pandemic is partly to blame for the long wait for an announcement.
Erika Harlacher and Cassandra Lee Morris, the voice actors for Ann and Morgana respectively, shared a bit of behind the scenes information during a recent discussion video. It turns out that English voice recording kicked off around April of last year. When the pandemic hit and quarantine went into effect, everything was put on hold.
Harlacher mentioned:
“It was like about to start – right when quarantine went into effect, and then we had to like kind of put it on hold, thinking that we would just go back into the studio in a couple of weeks, and then we didn’t. Then we had to come up with a plan B.”
