Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo heading to Nintendo Switch
Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo will be released on Nintendo Switch, publisher PM Studios and developer Pocket Trap confirmed today. The title arrives on May 28, 2025 digitally with a physical version to follow. A demo is now available on the Nintendo eShop.
Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo is a 2D adventure platformer. Players will explore a sprawling urban landscape, fight rival crime bosses, and regain the influence of the Pipistrello family with yoyo tricks.

In this 2D platforming adventure you’ll play as Pippit, an endearing bat on a mission to reclaim the Pipistrello family’s influence following the kidnapping of his dear auntie. Using Pippit’s trusty yoyo as a weapon, you will explore a sprawling urban landscape, learning new tricks and fighting rival crime bosses to restore your family’s once powerful legacy.
Discover and experiment with over 40 equipable badges and 20 passive upgrades that change the way you play. Combining certain badges might make you more powerful in battle or subtly alter the way your yoyo works — it’s up to you to find the right mix.
