Pocket Wheels, a 3D platformer and racer, announced for Nintendo Switch

Pocket Wheels is in development for Nintendo Switch, publisher Deck13 Spotlight and solo developer Florian Wolf announced today. A release window was not shared.

You may assume that Pocket Wheels is just a racer at first glance, but it’s also a 3D platformer “that brings the best of 90s collectathon games to a charming miniature world.” There’s a house to explore with themed rooms containing collectibles, objectives, and race tracks.

In Pocket Wheels you pick your favorite miniature ride and zoom through colorful, obstacle-filled rooms packed with unique challenges. Swing with grappling hooks, soar with wings, and reach epic new heights as you hunt for hidden treasures, batteries and coins in massive themed rooms. From spooky basements to flooded bathrooms, each environment is bursting with nostalgic vibes and clues that bring you closer to solving the house’s greatest mystery.

With tons of items to collect, new rooms to unlock and fresh vehicles to discover, Pocket Wheels fuses retro arcade fun with addictive 3D platforming and challenge-based missions. It’s a high-speed adventure packed with tricky objectives and rewarding secrets, keeping you racing round every corner of this vibrant world.
