Pokemon Scarlet and Violet announce Shiny Rayquaza Tera Raid Battle event

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet just revealed a special Tera Raid Battle event featuring Shiny Rayquaza.

Shiny Rayquaza, which will carry the Dragon Tera Type, will be appearing in 5 Star Raids. As always, it can only be caught once per save file.

Shiny Rayquaza Appears

With the Tera Raid Battles, players can work together with three others to take on a powerful Pokemon before time runs out. The kinds of Pokemon found these events often vary. Additionally, Pokemon encountered in Tera Raid Battles may have a rare Tera Type. You can get involved with the Tera Raid Battle events by downloading the latest Poke Portal News, which will happen automatically if your Switch system is connected online (Nintendo Switch Online subscription not required). It can also be accessed manually by choosing Poke Portal from the X menu, then Mystery Gift, and lastly Check Poke Portal News.

The Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Tera Raid Battle event with Shiny Rayquaza starts on December 19, running until January 5. There’ll be a few other Raid events as well. These include Corviknight and Bellibolt between November 29 and December 5, Azumarill and Clodsire between December 6 and December 12, and Annihilape and Kingambit between December 13 and December 19.
