Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield announced for Switch

During today’s Pokemon Direct, the next Pokemon games for Switch were announced. Later this year, we’ll be getting Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield.

Here’s what we know:

– RPG
– New region
– Three starter Pokemon shown
– Shigeru Ohmori directing
– Takes place in the Galar region
– Has countryside and cities, snow mountains, etc.
– Aiming for the title of Champion
– Enter Gyms again
– Grookey, Scorbunny, Sobble are the starter Pokemon
– Choose one of them to be your partner
– Many new Pokemon
