République: Anniversary Edition gets March release date on Switch

Camouflaj has set a release date for République: Anniversary Edition. It’s due out on March 10, 2022, the studio announced today.

The title was first spotted for Switch last January. A few months later, the news was made official.

République: Anniversary Edition features new developer commentary tracks revealing new secrets about the game’s development process. Skymap Games handled the Switch port.

We have an official overview below with a bit of additional information. 

République is a thrilling and topical stealth-adventure game that explores the perils of government surveillance in the Internet Age. Players receive a call from Hope, a woman trapped inside a mysterious totalitarian state, and must hack into the nation’s elaborate surveillance network to guide her to freedom.

République: Anniversary Edition will cost $14.99 on the Switch eShop. Pre-orders begin today with a 10 percent discount.

We’ll also mention that the title was previously confirmed for physical release through Limited Run Games and actually already released. This was a strange case of a physical version launching before the digital edition, which almost never happens.
