Arcade Archives Scion

Hamster has announced that for the latest Arcade Archives game, it’s releasing Scion. Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch are both receiving it tomorrow, October 30.

The title was initially launched by Seibu Kaihatsu. With the shooter, players are tasked with rescuing their captured kin.

Here’s an official overview:

Scion is a shooting game released by Seibu Kaihatsu in 1984. The game is set in Crystal Heaven, a sprawling supercity built in multiple layers. Your mission is to rescue your captured kin trapped within the city’s core. Fight your way down from the upper levels, tearing through each layer as you advance toward the enemy’s stronghold deep within!

The Arcade Archives series has faithfully reproduced many classic Arcade masterpieces. Players can change various game settings such as game difficulty, and also reproduce the atmosphere of arcade display settings at that time. Players can also compete against each other from all over the world with their high scores. Please enjoy the masterpiece that built a generation for video games.
