Another free Nintendo Switch to Switch 2 upgrade is now confirmed, as Bandai Namco confirmed that this will be in place for Shadow Labyrinth.

The game, a new take on Pac-Man which was first see in the show Secret Level, will have a frame rate of 60 FPS. Resolution comes in at 4K when docked – it’s a native 1080p in handheld mode. To compare, Shadow Labyrinth is 1080p docked and 720p portable on the previous Nintendo Switch.

If you initially decide to pick up Shadow Labyrinth on Nintendo Switch, it won’t be an issue later on if you get a Nintendo Switch 2. Again, the upgrade is entirely free.

There’s been similar news for other games as of late. Disney Speedstorm was confirmed to be getting a free Nintendo Switch 2 upgrade and we also recently heard the same for Dave the Diver.
