Shuten Order getting physical release on Nintendo Switch 2, Switch in the west

Today, a physical release was revealed for Shuten Order on both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. It’s due out in Spring 2026.

In North America, the game will be distributed by PM Studios. Reef Entertainment is in charge of the game in Europe – however, in that region, only the Nintendo Switch 2 version will be sold physically.

Shuten Order is a multi-genre adventure game created through a collaboration between DMM GAMES and Tookyo Games, led by Kazutaka Kodaka (best known for the Danganronpa series). Shuten Order allows players to experience five different game systems within a single game, including stealth action horror and multi-perspective visual novel systems.

Shuten Order Nintendo Switch 2 Edition features a higher frame rate (variable frame rate of 60-120 in both TV and handheld modes), and mouse control (compatible with all situations where mouse operation is accessible).
