Sixtar Gate: STARTRAIL to receive physical release on Switch, new trailer
It has been some time since we heard about Sixtar Gate: STARTRAIL, a rhythm game which was due to be released on Switch last year. Today, publisher CFK, along with developers Lyrebird Studio and Magical Works, announced that the game would receive a physical release on Switch when it arrives, and shared a new trailer. Currently the game does not have a release date.
Here’s some more information about the game:
Sixtar Gate: STARTRAIL is a keyboard rhythm game about a girl on a voyage through the stars. Join your cute and charming navigator Shii as you learn the story through the music tracks and feast on all the colorful visuals.
The lead producer of Sixtar Gate: STARTRAIL is Lyrebird Ferdinant, the developer behind popular rhythm games like Pump It Up and OverRapid, and the game’s lead sound director is Sound Souler, known for creating all sorts of fantastic melodies with the piano and strings that have been featured in many other rhythm games.
The Nintendo Switch version will build on the Steam track listing, featuring famous songs from the Bemani series, original songs by popular composers, and even derivations of songs from the Touhou Project, providing a list of songs that fans of rhythm games won’t want to miss. There will be enough original content on this version to satisfy anyone from first-time players of the genre to skilled professionals.
Sixtar Gate: STARTRAIL will release both physically and digitally on Switch. We’ll let you know when a release date is announced.
